I hate packing. Malas la...

Love my new place.. but haven't had much time to hang out with my flatmates besides during meal times since I have this presentation to prepare for.

It'll be done by Weds- can't wait.

Gosh.. it's my last day here at work. Got heaps of samples to re-bottle, and gotta clean up my lab. My presentation went well according to the feedback, so I'm glad it's over!

27 dresses was fun! Watched it with some friends after a yummy, but rather rushed meal at a Mexican restaurant. Manage to catch the last bit of a concert at Frankitts Park, but the band wasn't too impressive. Then, missy here decided to do something crazy. I borrowed my flatmate's bicycle and rode home, all the way up the terrace, non-stop. I thought my legs were gonna give way! And when i finally made it up my flight of steps and got to my room, a very pretty lil pot of plant (with flowers!) was sitting on my desk. Thanks baby!

So, 2 out of our 4 Valentine's day are spent apart. I miss him terribly, now especially when he's really half a globe away- he's in Tenessee now, i think. But nevermind, we'll survive.

OK, that's all from me for now. Won't be having much internet cos we havent hooked up to a network at home yet. Hopefully I'll be able to pop into uni to get internet, though it will cost!

So, V-day was alright this year.. Came back from work and headed straight for some great mexican food at Sweet Mother's Kitchen with Leesh, Ushma and Adeline. This was followed by 27 Dresses, which was great light-hearted fun after a long day. Loved some of the lines. The long day was finished off with a burst of adrenalin because I decided to borrow Peter's bike and rode back, UPHILL, non-stop to my flat! It was crazy.. but missed riding a bike.

All that were just things I did in the effort to celebrate V-day. But deep inside, all I wanted to do was to spend time with my valentine. Sadly, he was miles away, and will remain so for another year. But of course, he manages to put a smile on my face at the end of my long day. It was a beautiful pot of leaves and flowers. I still like to call them "wantan" flowers- the petals look like wantan wrap! Love them dear.. thanks!
