Arrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

 Where did my drugs go???!! Just when I need them most, they're gone! OK, I know, God's gonna heal me, and I dont really need the drugs anyway. I am reminded that as much as drugs has its powers, it is God the Healer who works thru the drugs. After all, no one would be able to explain the mysterious incidents when drugs dont work, thought they seem to be the best prescription.

 But still..where is my packet of drugs??! Arggh... Just what i need. Had a class, and worked for 3 hours at the library. And then, had to hang around the ICF booth for Clubs Day. And then, walked to Uni Hall office in the absolutely crappy weather, to spend money ie pay fees and electricity bill. On many occasions I had to stop walking, and just stand against the strong wind! Felt absolutely silly, but it's a better option than tumbling down Welly Slopes if I lose my balance. And so, I finally got back home, after battling the rain and "gale". Thought I would pop some pills and have a much needed rest, but NO, the pills decided to NOT SHOW UP! THey must have fallen out of my bag when i toook other stuff out. Forget it, I'm going to sleep.

(edited: Haha..U guys must have thought I've turned into a druggy or smth. My bad for not clarifying that the drugs im taking are simply medication for the cold i'v succumbed to over the weekend).

 God as I lay my head to rest, please grant me peace and good rest. Help me to praise you despite the turmoil within and around me now. Help me to praise you despite the weather. Help me praise you from within.

I found my pills! I knew they would appear just when i do not need them anymore. This guy working at Uni Stop saw me at the bus stop, and told me that someone at his shop found my packet of drugs!! Oh well...at least it's not totally lost.

So many things have been happening to me. Or at least, so many things have been going through my mind. And at this point....I guess what's bothering me most is the decision of whether I should step up as President for ICF this coming term. Aihz....Such a dilemma. And there's nothing really that I'm hearing from God. I guess it's for me to choose, after all, we're given a free will. And it does not help when I've made a decision, though not a committed decision, and everytime I talk to people, I get flung back to the centre...not knowing what to decide. God!!!! This itself have been causing me a lot of distress during the day, and also sleepless nights. Well..I guess I'm stressing over it unnecessarily..and really, it's not too big a deal. Only I know how big a deal it is, really.

 But yeah..other than that, everything's been going pretty well. I'm currently working 10 hours a week at the library, and I am so thankful for the flexibility of the job, and also thank God for giving me some extra $$!

 Baked Chicken & Lemons (with Bay Leaves)

1.5kg Chicken pieces

4 whole cloves farlic, unpeeled

1 onion, quartered

1 leek, washed & sliced lengthways

4 MASTERFOODS Bay Leaves

1 Cup Chicken Stock

1 Lemon, quartered

1. Brown chicken pieces, leek and onion in a frypan
2. transfer to a baking dish, squeeze lemon quarters over chicken, adding lemon rind and remaining ingredients
3. Bake 30-40 minutes in a moderate oven or until chicken juices run clear. Serve with steamed vegetables.
